Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Monday that 11 deaths 491 infections of coronavirus and 592 recoveries were recorded after conducting 4157 examinations in the last 24 hours.
Kaila explained during the daily epidemiological report of COVID-19 that the recovery rate from coronavirus reached 84.9 percent while the rate of active cases reached 14.3 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all cases.
She indicated that two deaths were recorded in Jerusalem 8 in the West Bank and one in the Gaza Strip.
In the West Bank 356 new cases were recorded while 73 infections were recorded in the Gaza Strip and 62 in Jerusalem.
The new cases were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (87) Nablus (33) Bethlehem (48) Qalqilya (7) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (32) Jenin (26) Tubas (2) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (35) Salfit (3) Tulkarem (98) the Gaza Strip (73) the suburbs of Jerusalem (15) and Jerusalem (62).
In the West Bank 419 recoveries were recorded while in Gaza Strip 65 were recorded and 108 in Jerusalem.
The new recoveries were recorded in: al-Khalil (117) Jenin (19) Tulkarem (59) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (10) Tubas (5) Salfit (9) Qalqilya (22) Bethlehem (70) Nablus (108) Gaza Strip (65) and Jerusalem (108).
Kailah indicated that there are 47 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 11 who have been placed on ventilators.
