Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health in Ramallah announced on Saturday that 11 deaths 406 new infections of coronavirus and 563 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
She stated in the daily epidemiological report of COVID-19 that 8 deaths were recorded 4 of them in Nablus two in Ramallah and Al-Bireh one death in al-Khalil and another death in the suburbs of Jerusalem in addition to 3 deaths in Jerusalem city.
In the West Bank 198 new cases were recorded while 114 infections were recorded in the Gaza Strip and 94 in Jerusalem.
These new cases were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (28) Nablus (14) Bethlehem (40) Qalqilya (11) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (18) Jenin (40) Tubas (1) Jericho and Al-Aghwar. (7) Salfit (3) Tulkarem (33) the Gaza Strip (114) the suburbs of Jerusalem (3) and Jerusalem city (94).
In the West Bank 403 recoveries were recorded while in Gaza Strip 95 were recorded and 65 in Jerusalem.
The new recovery cases were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (115) Jenin (21) Salfit (40) Jerusalem Suburbs (216) Nablus (11) Gaza Strip (95) and Jerusalem (65).
The Minister indicated that there are 51 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 12 who have been placed on ventilators.
Kailah indicated that the recovery rate from coronavirus reached 82.9 percent while the rate of active infections reached 16.4 percent and the death rate was 0.7% of all infections.
