The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 19 deaths 1595 new cases of coronavirus and 1429 recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours.
Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 13 deaths were recorded in the West Bank as follows: Jenin 5 Nablus 3 Tulkarem 1 Qalqilya 1 al-Khalil 1 Tubas 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1 in addition to 6 deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil 310 Jenin 127 Nablus 263 Tulkarem 90 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 202 Salfit 39 Qalqilya 46 Tubas 26 Bethlehem 141 the suburbs of Jerusalem 93 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 14 and Jerusalem 244 she said.
She added that the new recovery cases were recorded as follows: al-Khalil 119 Jenin 146 Tulkarem 60 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 152 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 21 Salfit 20 Qalqilya 37 and Tubas 99 the Gaza Strip 550 and Jerusalem 228.
The minister noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 76.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 22.6 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 85 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 25 who have been placed on ventilators.
