Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Friday that 23 deaths 822 new cases of the coronavirus and 1405 recoveries were recorded in Palestine during the past 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the deaths were recorded as follows: Tulkarem 1 Qalqilya 1 Nablus 2 Jericho 1 Ramallah 3 Bethlehem 2 al-Khalil 2 Jenin 3 and the Gaza Strip 8.
She stated that the new infections were distributed according to the following: Tulkarem 46 Qalqilya 20 Salfit 17 Nablus 63 Tubas 11 the suburbs of Jerusalem 15 Jericho 6 Ramallah 59 Bethlehem 24 al-Khalil 37 Jenin 25 the Gaza Strip 499 noting that 4007 examinations were conducted.
The new recoveries were recorded as follows: Tulkarem 55 Qalqilya 22 Salfit 23 Nablus 266 Tubas 20 Jericho 12 Bethlehem 41 al-Khalil 79 Jenin 97 and the Gaza Strip 790 the minister added.
She noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 88.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 10.4 percent and the death rate was 1.0% of all infections.
Kailah pointed out that there are 105 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 25 who have been placed on ventilators.
