Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Sunday that three deaths 123 new cases of the coronavirus and 378 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
Kailah confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that one death was recorded in Nablus and two deaths in the Gaza Strip.
She noted that the new infections were distributed as follows: Tulkarem 4 Tubas 1 Salfit 1 Bethlehem 2 Jenin 4 Nablus 6 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 3 and the Gaza Strip 102.
The new recovery cases were recorded according to the following: Tulkarem 3 Tubas 2 Jenin 10 Jerusalem suburbs 2 al-Khalil 3 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2 and the Gaza Strip 356 the minister added.
Kailah stated that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 97.7 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.2 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She pointed out that there are 13 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 2 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the minister pointed out that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 408803 including 249272 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
