The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah reported on Saturday that 3 deaths 269 new cases of the coronavirus and 399 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 97.7 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.1 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed geographically to 19 cases in the West Bank and 250 cases in the Gaza Strip while all the deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip the ministry added.
It pointed out that there are 29 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 6 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the ministry noted that the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 304889 including 217207 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
