The Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Wednesday that 6 deaths and 510 infections with the coronavirus have been recorded during the last 24 hours in Palestine.
The ministry stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the 6 deaths and 281 new infections were recorded in the provinces of the West Bank 127 in the Gaza Strip and 102 in Jerusalem.
The recovery rate of coronavirus reached 85.1 percent while the rate of active cases reached 14.1 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
354 recovery cases were recorded in the northern provinces and 194 recoveries in Jerusalem.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (77) Nablus (34) Bethlehem (42) Qalqilya (10) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (39) Jenin (38) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (22) Tubas (3) the Gaza Strip (127) the suburbs of Jerusalem (16) and Jerusalem (102).
Cases of recovery were recorded in: al-Khalil (125) Nablus (29) Jenin (20) Tulkarem (29) Qalqilya (151) and Jerusalem City (194).
The Ministry indicated that there are 46 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 10 who have been placed on ventilators.
