The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah on Wednesday reported 8 new deaths 426 new infections of coronavirus and 1015 recoveries during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry stated in the daily epidemiological report of COVID-19 that the recovery rate from coronavirus reached 81.6 percent while the rate of active cases reached 17.7 percent and the death rate was 0.7% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil 73 Nablus 35 Bethlehem 46 Qalqilya 9 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 34 Jenin 35 Salfit 4 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 22 Tulkarem 39 Tubas 7 Gaza Strip 37 the suburbs of Jerusalem and Jerusalem City 68 (in two days).
The ministry indicated that there are 39 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 14 who have been placed on ventilators.
