The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Tuesday that one death 162 new cases of the coronavirus and 154 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 98.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 0.7 percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
It added that the new infections were distributed as follows: Tulkarem 4 Qalqilya 2 Jenin 3 al-Khalil 3 and the Gaza Strip 150.
The ministry pointed out that there are 8 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including one who has been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 497232 including 359359 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
