The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah announced on Saturday that 13 deaths 491 new cases of the coronavirus and 2005 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry confirmed in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 95.1% percent while the rate of active infections reached 3.8% percent and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The new infections were distributed as follows: Nablus 49 Salfit 4 the suburbs of Jerusalem 2 al-Khalil 4 Qalqilya 3 Tulkarem 9 Jenin 8 Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1 Ramallah and Al-Bireh 10 Tubas 1 Bethlehem 2 and the Gaza Strip 398 the ministry added.
It pointed out that there are 87 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 25 who have been placed on ventilators.
Regarding the vaccination campaign the total number of people who received the corona vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 266472 including 193787 who received the two doses of the vaccine the ministry concluded.
