Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Sunday that 3 deaths 549 new cases of the coronavirus and 444 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Kailah added in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 3 deaths were recorded for a male citizen 93 from Al-Bireh a 74-year-old woman from Al-Fara’a in Tubas and another woman 83 from Jabalia in Gaza Strip.
She said that the new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil (58) Nablus (77) Bethlehem (36) Qalqilya (14) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (50) Jenin (21) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (8) ) Salfit (2) Tulkarem (22) Tubas (4) the Gaza Strip (201) the suburbs of Jerusalem (8) and Jerusalem (48).
The minister noted that 235 recoveries were recorded in the West Bank as follows: al-Khalil 38 Jenin 29 Nablus 23 Tulkarem 19 Salfit 26 Tubas 2 Qalqilya 12 and Ramallah and Al-Bireh 83 in addition to 200 recoveries in Gaza Strip and 12 in Jerusalem.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 88.3 percent while the rate of active infections reached 10.9 percent and the death rate was 0.8% of all cases.
Kailah pointed out that there are 40 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 10 who have been placed on ventilators.
