Tulkarm- Tayseer Khaled the politburo member of the DFLP has warned of the Israeli government’s racial cleansing policy exercised in occupied Jerusalem and Jordan Valley.
Khaled in a press release said that the Tel Aviv government’s policy would carry grave repercussions on the overall situation in the West Bank.
He further charged that such a policy ran contrary to Israeli premier Ehud Olmert’s allegation of encouraging calm with the Palestinians and wishing to forge a settlement to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that includes establishment of a Palestinian state.
The DFLP official said that the Israeli racial cleansing siege and isolation against occupied Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley areas in particular coupled with the construction of the separation wall in the West Bank in general proved that Olmert’s statements were sheer lies.
He regretted that the Israelis were currently making use of Palestinian internal disputes to go ahead in plotting a political settlement that would impose a de facto solution after claiming that there was no Palestinian partner to negotiate with.
