Israeli warplanes at dawn Thursday launched an aerial attack on a resistance post in the north of the Gaza Strip.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that at least five air-to-surface missiles were fired by warplanes at a site belonging to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas in northern Gaza.
Luckily no one was hurt in the airstrike which caused panic among the residents in the area.
The Palestinian resistance for its part responded to the Israeli attack later in the morning by firing two rockets towards Israeli areas.
In this regard a spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army claimed the aerial attack was in response to the launch of balloons carrying inflaming materials towards Israeli areas.
These developments took place as a result of Israel’s reluctance to honor the recent Egyptian-brokered understandings over Gaza.
