Violent clashes broke out at dawn Thursday between Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiers in Tubas city north of the occupied West Bank after the latter stormed the city.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the clashes continued for several hours during which young men hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers.
They added that the soldiers intensively fired tear gas at the young men many of whom were treated for suffocation as as result of the tear gas attack.
There is still no information if the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) made arrests during its campaign in the town.
Meanwhile the IOF soldiers stormed at dawn Fari’ah refugee camp and Tamun town both south of Tubas and patrolled some of their streets.
