Dozens of Palestinians in Umm al-Fahm in 1948 Occupied Palestine took to the streets after Friday prayer in protest at the Israeli Adhan ban bill which was endorsed by the Knesset in the first reading last Wednesday.
Head of the popular committee in Umm al-Fahm Ahmad Shreim told arab48.com website that “the demonstration is the initial move to protest the Nazi bill which deprives people of their right of worship”.
“Attacking the Muslims’ holy places is a red line” he underlined.
“Israel will be a crazy state if it turns the struggle into a religious conflict” Shreim said. He undertook to continue defending the sacred places and the Aqsa Mosque as well as Palestinians’ homes and lands.
