The Palestinian community in Germany held its annual conference despite relentless pressure from unknown parties.
The conference was held on Sunday in the presence of a number of activists artists and youth campaigners.
An article released by the local press last Friday a couple of days before the conference was expected to kick off announced that the event was cancelled raising suspicions on heavy pressure from unknown parties.
The owner of the rented hall where the conference was expected to take place also reneged on his promises in spite of the lease deal struck with the managing staff.
The conference slated to be held in the western German city of Essen took place in another German province.
