The family of the isolated Palestinian detainee Wael Nabeel N’eirat sounded distress signals over the critical downturn rocking their relative’s health status in an Israeli jail.
The family of 43-year-old N’eirat said the detainee’s health has taken a turn for the worse and that he has been isolated in the Beersheba lock-up for 12 days running.
According to the family the Israeli jailers stripped the detainee of all his clothing and prevented him from taking in diabetes medication.
Prisoner N’eirat has served 13 years in Israeli jails out of an ongoing 25-year prison-term.
A native of Jenin’s southern town of Methlon in the northern West Bank prisoner N’eirat has reportedly been locked up for seven years in solitary confinement out of the 13 years he has spent in Israeli jails so far.
