Sunday 12-September-2021

Dozens of Palestinian citizens on Sunday morning suffered from their exposure to tear gas during violent clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the refugee camps of al-Fawwar and al-Arroub in al-Khalil.

According to local sources clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli soldiers at the main entrances to al-Fawwar and al-Arroub camps.

Dozens of citizens received on-site medical assistance as the IOF intensively fired volleys of tear gas and stun grenades during the events.

Meanwhile the IOF attacked dozens of students after they organized a march in Teqoa town southeast of Bethlehem in solidarity with the six prisoners who recently escaped from Gilboa jail.

Director of the Teqoa municipality Tayseer Abu Mifreh said that no one was hurt when Israeli soldiers attacked the march with tear gas and stun grenades adding that the IOF closed the northern entrance to the town.
