Dozens of Palestinian citizens on Tuesday evening were injured during clashes in Kafr Aqab town in Occupied Jerusalem between local youths and Israeli police forces.
According to local sources the clashes started after police forces stormed the town and embarked on firing live ammunition and a hail of tear gas and stun grenades at young men.
The young men for their part responded by hurling stones and empty bottles at the forces.
The Red Crescent in Jerusalem said that 11 local residents suffered from rubber bullet injuries and 31 others suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events.
