Dozens of Israeli soldiers on Tuesday broke into the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil with their shoes on.
Local sources said that hordes of Israeli soldiers stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque and harassed Palestinian worshipers inside.
The raid came a day after the Knesset’s so-called Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee held a meeting Monday evening to set a date for the execution of new expansion projects at the Ibrahimi Mosque.
