Jewish settlers stormed on Tuesday morning the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of extremist settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals under Israeli police protection.
On Monday evening other groups of Jewish settlers raided the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia north of Nablus.
Muhammad Azim the Mayor of Sebastia said that about 50 settlers stormed the archaeological site in the town under heavy Israeli army protection.
Azim added that the occupation authorities are escalating their attacks and violations against the town and its historical landmarks as they are trying to impose a fait accompli through the settlers’ repeated incursions.
Sebastia is routinely subjected to incursions by IOF and the closure of the archaeological area to secure the raids of Jewish settlers who perform religious rituals claiming that it is Israeli territory.
