Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Thursday morning.

The Islamic Endowments Authority in Occupied Jerusalem affirmed that the settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site the settlers provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

In response the Palestinian worshipers shouted Takbeer in protest against the settlers’ provocative tour.

According to local sources scores of settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police imposed movement restrictions on Muslim worshipers in the Old City and on the roads leading to the Aqsa Mosque.

Since the recent shooting operation in Jerusalem Old City extremist Jewish temple groups have been inciting their followers to storm the Aqsa Mosque in large numbers.

The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Israeli police close al-Maghariba Gate which is used by Jews to enter the Mosque at 10:30 am after the settlers complete their morning tours at the holy site. Later in the afternoon the same gate is reopened for evening tours by settlers.

During the presence of settlers inside the Mosque compound entry restrictions are imposed on Muslim worshipers at the entrances leading to the Mosque and their IDs could be seized until they leave the holy place.

Extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick was among dozens of Jewish settlers who desecrated the Aqsa Mosque under police protection on Sunday morning.

According to local sources 105 settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courts under police escort.

Several Jewish Americans were reportedly among the group that was led by rabbi Glick and listened to his lecture about the alleged temple mount.

Scores of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces on Monday morning desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources at least 74 settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police guard.

Some settlers were reportedly seen defiling the eastern area of the Mosque through performing Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile the Aqsa Association for Supporting Awqaf and Holy Sites has called on all Muslim worshipers in the 1948 occupied lands (Israel) and Jerusalem to march en masse to the Aqsa Mosque and intensify their daily presence in its buildings and courtyards.

The Aqsa Association also urged the Palestinians who live outside Jerusalem to buy their needs and go shopping in the holy city’s markets in order to support the Jerusalemite merchants who suffer from systematic Israeli persecution.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Authority in Occupied Jerusalem 59 settlers entered the Mosque through al-Maghariba Gate and desecrated its courtyards under police protection.

Another 50 settlers who were identified as students of religious institutes and Hebrew universities also defiled the Mosque and stayed there for about three and a half hours touring its courtyards and receiving explanations about the alleged temple mount from rabbis.

Separately 21 Israeli police officers wearing civilian clothing also received a guided tour around the Mosque’s courtyards.

Dozens of Jewish settlers broke into the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning under Israeli security protection provided by special police forces.

The PIC reporter said that 86 settlers entered the holy Islamic site via the Maghareba Gate in six separate groups and roamed its plazas.

He added that 35 Israeli students toured the Aqsa Mosque compound along with guides who explained to the students the history of the alleged Jewish Temple.

Many Muslim worshipers and Quran students were present in the holy site during the provocative tours the reporter underlined.
