Scores of Jewish settlers desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday morning and later in the afternoon.
According to the Palestinian Endowment Authority dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police guard.
Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the Mosque and harassed a number of them during their presence in its courtyards and the entrances leading to it.
In a related context the Palestine Committee in the Jordanian parliament condemned the continued Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa holding Israel responsible over its implications.
The committee also stressed that there will be no stability in the region without a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
Along the same line Jerusalemite activists have called on their compatriots to necessarily intensify their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound during the coming days.
