Despite the lockdown being imposed on the Old City of Jerusalem hordes of Jewish settlers on Sunday morning were allowed by the Israeli occupation police to enter and desecrate the Aqsa Mosque.
According to local sources at least 41 settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque in groups and toured its courtyards and eastern area including Bab al-Rahma where some of them performed Talmudic prayers.
Last night police officers defiled the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma prayer hall without removing their shoes and took pictures of its interior.
The Israeli police have been preventing for the second week running the Jerusalemite residents who live outside the Old City from entering the city and performing prayers at the Aqsa Mosque.
