Dozens of workers in Palestinian institutions for people with special needs on Monday staged a protest in the Old City of Jerusalem calling for justice for Eyad al-Hallaq a young man with autism who was murdered by Israeli police last week.
The protesters raised banners condemning Israeli crimes extrajudicial killings and violations of the rights of Palestinians with special needs.
Lawyer Haitham al-Khatib said in statements that the protest was organized to condemn the murder of Eyad al-Hallaq who posed no threat to anyone’s life and ask for justice to be served.
Ten days ago Israeli police officers opened fire at al-Hallaq who was heading to his special education school in the Old City of Jerusalem instantly killing him.
