Dozens of journalists and jurists on Wednesday rallied in the Turkish city of Istanbul to call for taking legal action against the Israelis responsible for killing Palestinian journalist Yasser Murtaja last Friday on Gaza border.
During the sit-in the participants carried pictures of journalist Murtaja with a caption reading in Arabic Turkish and English “You cannot murder the truth.”
According to the organizers the sit-in was aimed at expressing solidarity with the innocent civilians who were killed or wounded by the Israeli army during their participation in the March of Return protests over the past two weeks.
