The Egyptian authorities prevented an Algerian humanitarian convoy from entering the blockaded Gaza Strip via Rafah border-crossing.
According to the National Movement against the Blockade and for Reconstruction the ban is disappointing and was issued after the convoy obtained all required permits to pass through the crossing.
The Algerian convoy was carrying much-needed medicines and aid items to Gaza’s under-equipped hospitals.
