Egyptian officials Monday night phoned Palestinian factions and Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) to ward off any potential new clashes between Israel and Palestinian resistance Gaza in the wake of the Israeli shelling of a resistance tunnel that killed at least seven fighters.
According to Quds Press the Egyptian officials made contacts with all the Palestinian factions and asked them to refrain from involvement in a war that is planned by the IOA and aimed at disrupting the Palestinian reconciliation.
The Egyptians also called on the IOA not to escalate the situation in the Gaza Strip.
