The Egyptian security delegation on Saturday left Gaza for a visit to Ramallah through Beit Hanoun crossing after a 5-hours visit to Gaza and convening with Hamas leaders according to Quds Press.
A well-informed Palestinian source said that Major General Sameh Nabil arrived in the Gaza Strip on Saturday afternoon and met with Hamas officials without releasing any further information regarding the nature of the talks.
The Egyptian security delegation had left the Gaza Strip mid of March two days following the alleged assassination attempt targeting the Palestinian Authority government’s premier Rami Hamdallah.
It is the fifth visit in five months paid by the Egyptian delegation for achieving the reconciliation and ending the internal division.
