An Egyptian security delegation arrived on Sunday in the Gaza Strip through Beit Hanoun crossing to meet with Hamas officials.
According to media sources Ahmad Abdul-Khaleq who is in charge of the Palestinian file in the Hamas-Egypt talks headed the delegation.
Hamas’s spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanou’ said that the Egyptian delegation was set to meet with Hamas leaders to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena especially in the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip has witnessed a limited escalation after the Israeli occupation army killed two Palestinian children in the Great March of Return protests on Friday.
