An Egyptian security delegation has entered the blockaded Gaza Strip on Thursday through the Israeli-controlled Beit Hanun (Erez) border-crossing.
The delegation will meet with Palestinian factions including Hamas leaders to carry out talks about a truce with the Israeli occupation.
The envoy is also expected to discuss ties between Fatah and Hamas and the progress of national reconciliation talks along with the repercussions of the Palestinian Authority’s decision to pull its staff members from Rafah border-crossing.
