Eight Palestinians kidnapped in W. Bank IOF campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Wednesday kidnapped eight Palestinian citizens from their homes during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

According to different local sources three young men were taken prisoners and money was confiscated during an IOF campaign at dawn in Balata refugee camp east of Nablus city.

The IOF also kidnapped three Palestinians during IOF campaigns in Jenin city and the towns of Burqin and Silat al-Harithiya.

The IOF also stormed Azzun town in Qalqilya and kidnapped two citizens from their homes.

In a separate incident the IOF reportedly kidnapped on Tuesday a Palestinian citizen from Awarta town in Nablus at al-Karama crossing after he returned from Turkey through Jordan.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday kidnapped eight Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources five Palestinian young men were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Bethlehem al-Khalil and Qalqilya.

The IOF also handed the wife of Palestinian prisoner Ahmed ash-Sheikh a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet during its campaign in Marah Rabah village south of Bethlehem.

Another citizen called Hisham Diyab was kidnapped from his home by the IOF in Kafr Ra’i town south of Jenin.

In another context violent clashes broke out between Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiers in different West Bank areas including in the refugee camps of al- Am’ari and Aqabat Jaber.

Eight Palestinians kidnapped in W. Bank IOF campaigns

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday kidnapped six Palestinian citizens including a woman in West Bank areas of Nablus and Jenin.

In the northeast of Nablus the IOF kidnapped a young man called Qutaiba Abu Hasan after storming Fari’ah refugee camp amid intensive gunfire.

In south Nablus the IOF detained a 30-year-old woman identified as Rima Mansour for several hours in Kafr Qallil town before releasing her.

The IOF also stormed Salem town east of Nablus and kidnapped three citizens from their homes.

The three detainees were identified as Oqab Hamdan Amr Jabara and Wahid Jabara.

The Hebrew media claimed that one of those detainees was affiliated with Hamas and found in possession of a homemade rifle.

Meanwhile Israeli border police kidnapped a young man from Jenin during his presence in Haifa area.

In al-Khalil IOF soldiers rounded up two youths from Deir Samet village southwest of the city.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that border policemen raided a home in Haifa overnight and rounded up a young man called Saleh Abed a resident of Kafr Dan town in Jenin.

They added that the same police force raided several buildings under construction in Haifa in search for West Bank workmen who entered Israeli areas with no entry or work permits.
