Mai Al-Kailah the Palestinian Minister of Health announced on Friday that 8 deaths 1472 new cases of coronavirus and 410 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
She stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that the deaths were recorded for two citizens 62 from Bethlehem two citizens 76 from Nablus a 73-year-old and an 81-year-old from al-Khalil in addition to two citizens from the Gaza Strip.
The minister noted that the new infections were distributed as follows: al-Khalil (111) Nablus (200) Bethlehem (108) Qalqilya (18) Ramallah and Al-Bireh (36) Jenin (110) Jericho and Al-Aghwar (11) Salfit (15) Tulkarem (47) Tubas (44) Gaza Strip (754) and the suburbs of Jerusalem (18) indicating that 7256 examinations were conducted.
The recoveries were recorded according to the following: al-Khalil (49) Jenin (26) Nablus (28) Tulkarem (25) Salfit (4) Qalqilya (16) Jericho and Al Aghwar (16) Bethlehem (35) Tubas (6) and the Gaza Strip (205) she said.
Kailah pointed out that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 85.87 percent while the rate of active cases reached 13.29 percent and the death rate was 0.84% of all infections.
