A Jewish settler on Friday attacked an old Palestinian farmer while he was working in his land in the village of Shoufa in the West Bank city of Tulkarem.
The Palestinian citizen Tayseer Hamed told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that his 65-year-old brother Ibrahim Hamed was brutally beaten by the guard of the illegal settlement of Avnei Hefetz protected by a group of Israeli soldiers.
He added that his brother suffered several bruises all over his body and was taken to Dr. Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarem.
199 settlements and 220 settlement outposts are established on Palestinian-owned lands in the West Bank and Jerusalem where more than 913000 Jewish settlers live and attack Palestinians on a semi-daily basis.
