A Palestinian elderly woman on Monday evening suffered serious injuries when an Israeli military jeep ran over her on a road near al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village south of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that 70-year-old Hilweh Abu Ras was seriously injured when a speeding military jeep rammed into her as she was walking back from her agricultural land near the village.
Abu Ras is known in the village as the guardian of the land as she spends most of her time taking care of her land and defending it against any Israeli attempt to seize it.
