Ambassador Mohammed al-Emadi the head of the Qatari committee for the reconstruction of Gaza said that his country was exerting big efforts to stabilize calm and to prevent renewal of attacks on Gaza.
Emadi during a meeting with head of Hamas in Gaza Yehya Sinwar said that Doha is keen on accelerating the entry of humanitarian and relief materials into the costal enclave.
The Qatari envoy discussed with the Hamas delegation led by Sinwar the latest political developments in the Palestinian arena stressing his country’s support for the Palestinian people at all levels.
For his part Sinwar said that the constant and generous Qatari support to Gaza reflected its stable stance in support of Palestine and the deep-rooted Qatari-Palestinian relations.
He affirmed the importance of lifting the siege on Gaza and opening all crossings warning of the serious repercussions of the continued siege on the people in Gaza.
