Ambassador Mohamed al-Emadi head of Qatar’s Committee for Gaza Reconstruction has affirmed that his country is making intensive efforts to contain the escalation in the Gaza Strip.
In press remarks Emadi said there are also ongoing efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis being faced by the population in Gaza.
“Intensive Qatari contacts were made over the past few hours and are still ongoing at the highest levels and with all parties to contain the escalation and spare the population of Gaza further crises” the ambassador said.
“Qatar has been and will continue to support the brotherly Palestinian people at all levels in order to alleviate their suffering” he added.
He urged the international community the UN and all relevant international organizations to fulfill their commitments and pledges with regard to providing the necessary support for the population of Gaza to alleviate their humanitarian suffering and crises and improve their daily lives.
