Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has talked to the head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya through a phone call in which he informed him that Turkish medical aid is set to arrive in the Gaza Strip and West Bank next week.
According to a statement by the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Erdogan wished Ramadan Mubarak to Haneyya and the Palestinian people.
Both leaders briefly discussed the recent political updates on the Palestinian cause the statement added.
Haneyya thanked Erdogan and Turkey for their incessant support for the Palestinian people and congratulated him on the inauguration of the largest hospital in Europe in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
