Political bureau chairman of Hamas Movement Ismail Haneyya congratulated on Monday evening Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In a phone call conversation Erdogan confirmed his country’s total and continued support to the Palestinian people and particularly those in Gaza Strip.
He also expressed satisfaction for the safe arrival of the Turkish aid ship to Gaza Strip.
They both discussed Israel’s escalated attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem stressing the urgent need to put an end to it.
For his part Haneyya hailed the Turkish courageous positions in support of Palestine and Gaza Strip in particular.
