Turkish president Recep Erdogan on Tuesday met with Sheikh Ekrima Sabri an Aqsa Mosque preacher and head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem.
The meeting took place in camera at the presidential complex in Ankara according to Anadolu news agency.
The meeting was attended by former chairman of Turkey’s religious affairs authority Mehmet Gormaz.
Sheikh Sabri is a noted Jerusalemite figure and known for his positions in support of the Aqsa Mosque. The Israeli occupation police had arrested summoned and banned him from entering Aqsa many times.
