Chairman of the World Popular Committee to Support Gaza Essam Youssef said Thursday that Egypt has the keys to restore life to normalcy in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Youssef called on Egypt to permanently open Rafah crossing and to alleviate the suffering of thousands of sick people and students in Gaza.
He also stressed the importance of establishing a free trade zone between Gaza and Egypt in order to break the Israeli siege on Gaza.
Gaza has been witnessing unprecedented poverty and unemployment levels since Israel’s 2014 aggression he stressed.
Youssef concluded by calling on the Arab countries to seriously work on the reconstruction of Gaza by all possible means.
