The family of the ex-prisoner Musab Abdel Salam Awwad launched a cry for help to provide their son with the immediate medical treatment he urgently needs.
Musab 21 was arrested in 2020. He was subjected to ill-treatment in Israeli jails.
In detention he started suffering sharp pains in his foot. The Israeli medical negligence has worsened his health condition.
After his release Musab discovered he has a bone tumor in his foot and he needs an urgent medical surgery to remove the tumor.
However Israeli authorities refused the family’s frequent appeals to allow his entry to Occupied Jerusalem for medical treatment.
550 Palestinian sick prisoners are currently held in Israeli jails suffering from deliberate medical negligence.
229 Palestinian prisoners died in Israeli custody since 1967. Around 4700 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails including 32 women according to human rights groups.
