Executive force rescues kidnapped Palestinian citizen in Gaza

Tuesday 20-March-2007

GAZA (PIC)– The executive force of the PA interior ministry has succeeded Tuesday in rescuing kidnapped Palestinian citizen Nael Krezem after storming his kidnappers’ hideout at the Nasr suburb north of Gaza city.

In a statement it issued and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC the executive force affirmed that based on “clear” orders from the new PA interior minister Hani Al-Kawasmi to locate and free Krezem the force dispatched several teams in search for the kidnapped citizen and succeeded in locating and freeing him Tuesday morning.

Krezem is a member of the Nasser Salahuddin Brigades armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) one of the Palestinian resistance factions. He was kidnapped at the hands of unknown armed men while returning home four days ago.

Family of Krezem urged PA chief Mahmoud Abbas PA premier Ismael Haneyya and Kawasmi to take all the necessary measures to secure the safe release of their son.
