A mosque was vandalized in a suspected racist attack in Jaffa in central Israel (1948 Occupied Palestine) on Thursday night.
Attackers spray-painted racist graffiti and two Jewish Stars of David on the walls of the Hassan Bek mosque.
Preacher Sheikh Ahmed Abu Ajwa affirmed that the Mosque has long been targeted by Jewish groups.
Abu Ajwa held the Israeli police responsible for the attack pointing out that a police patrol was standing near the mosque during the incident.
He further urged Palestinians to intensify their presence at the Mosque.
Similar attacks have been recorded by the so-called “Price tag” extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. Most of their attacks have gone unpunished.
