The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) composed of campaigns from around the world demanded an end to the illegal blockade of Gaza and that governments worldwide take action toward that end.
The FFC announced in a statement on Tuesday sending fishing equipment and tools for 200 Palestinian fishermen in Gaza and Deir al-Balah cities in the blockaded Gaza Strip including fishing nets and suits and lights for fishing boats.
The statement added that the FFC along with Palestinian and international organizations have been cooperating for alleviating the growing suffering of the Gazan fishermen.
The FFC aid came in response to the hard living conditions being suffered by over 2 million Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave the statement elaborated.
It also revealed that the FFC’s current project involves a media campaign that aims at spreading the word of Gazan fishermen and their suffering to the world.
The FFC announced the intention to sail again to break the siege on Gaza without giving further details.
