The Palestinian resistance factions has denounced US vice president Mike Pence’s visit to Palestine and Jerusalem and described it as “an act of aggression against the Palestinian people and a reflection of the American arrogance.”
In a joint news conference held on Tuesday in Gaza City the factions stated that Pence’s visit unveiled the US administration’s ugly face and confirmed its hostility towards the Palestinian people and the Muslim nation.
The factions also condemned the visit as “provocative a blatant act of defiance unprecedented insolence and persistence in denying the Palestinian rights.”
They warned Palestinian officials of meeting with Pence and urged them to boycott his visit and called on the Palestinian people at home to escalate their intifada (uprising) and resistance to protest the US position on Occupied Jerusalem and to foil any project aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause.
