A Palestinian farmer on Sunday afternoon was injured by Israeli gunfire during his presence in an agricultural area in the southeast of Gaza City.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a group of farmers as they were working their lands in the east of Juhor ad-Dick neighborhood south of Gaza City.
He added that a 19-year-old farmer suffered a bullet injury in the shooting attack.
Medical sources described his injury as moderate.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking— sometimes injuring or killing — civilians farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis without any shred of respect for any ceasefire deal in Gaza or even the international law.
