NABLUS (PIC)– Gunmen affiliated with Fatah-affiliated mutiny trend opened fire Tuesday at the house of Sheikh Fayyad Al-Aghbar a member of the municipal council and a Hamas prominent leader in the Nablus city.
Several Palestinian sources confirmed the news of firing at the house of Sheikh Fayyad which led to the shrapnel injury of his wife in the context of ongoing assaults committed by the PA security apparatuses against Hamas in the West Bank for seven months.
In a related development Abbas’s security forces in the West Bank kidnapped 13 Palestinians over the past 24 hours mostly for sympathizing with the Hamas Movement.
In another context Dr. Salah Al-Bardawil the spokesman for Hamas-affiliated change and reform parliamentary bloc called on Fatah to make choice whether to be biased in favor of the national project or against the Palestinian national project and mortgage itself to the funds provided in Annapolis and Paris.
“Fatah cannot select both options and set a foot in Tel Aviv and a finger in Palestine” Dr. Bardawil stated holding Fatah leadership fully responsible for the bloody events that claimed the lives of a number of Hamas cadres.
In response to the bloody events that took place in Gaza Hamas confirmed Tuesday that it will strike with an iron fist against all those who tamper with the blood and security of the Palestinian people calling on the legitimate government to prosecute all criminals.
This came in an explanatory statement issued by Hamas and a copy of which was received by the PIC about the violence that accompanied the Fatah 43rd anniversary in the Gaza Strip which resulted in the death of eight Palestinian citizens including a prominent reformist in Khan Younis and a 12-year-old boy.
Hamas called on the Palestinian national and Islamic factions to determine their positions towards these criminal events committed by elements affiliated with the mutiny trend in Fatah.
