RAMALLAH (PIC)– London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper revealed that Fatah faction intends in its sixth general conference to table a new platform stating that Fatah should invoke international law and legitimacy and uphold them dissolve its armed wing and recognize Israel.
According to a report published Saturday by the newspaper sources close to the Fatah mobilization and organization committee headed by Ahmed Qurei alleged that this version of the report which was obtained by Al-Quds Al-Arabi is not correct.
The Fatah sources said that Nasser Al-Kidwa the former PA delegate to the UN is currently putting the finishing touches on the platform to be tabled during the general conference of Fatah pointing out that the platform is based on late PA president Yasser Arafat’s recognition of Israel.
Observers believe that the preparatory committee for the sixth general conference of Fatah headed by Mohamed Ghuneim is the unknown soldier behind this platform.
