Father Atallah Hanna has warned that Occupied Jerusalem is at great risk as a result of Israel’s ongoing Judaization activities.
Hanna Archbishop of the Palestinian Orthodox Church in Occupied Jerusalem made his remarks during his meeting on Saturday morning with a Palestinian delegation of dignitaries and citizens from Nablus city.
“Jerusalem is in great danger and the occupation works day and night to carry out its schemes in light of the inter-Palestinian division that we hope will be gone soon and the fragile Arab situation that we hope to see changed for the better in addition to the American and Western bias in favor of the occupation its policies and practices” Father Hanna said
“We cannot wager on foreign parties to defend and save us. We must rely first and foremost on our people…if we [the Palestinians] refrained from assuming our duty towards Jerusalem we should not expect others to do it on our behalf” the Christian cleric underlined.
“We own this cause which we must defend with all our strength and resolve and we should be united because our unity will make us strong in our defense of the right we are seeking after” he added.
